Andy Iredale began making chainsaw sculptures while thinning trees in the North York Moors, where he manages woodland. Many of the trees were still fairly small so he concentrated on fine detail rather than size. As you will see, his sculptures are surprisingly small considering how crude an instrument a chainsaw would seem to be. |
