A friend of a friend visiting us for the first time saw this photogarph on the wall and straightaway said, "Is that Martin Muir?"
I was amazed on two counts; firstly that this stranger knew someone I had last seen years ago (I no longer live anywhere near where this photo was taken) and secondly that he could recognise him from the photo.
