The plans being proposed by the developers of Hanley's new East-West Centre do not would mean the end of one of the city centres best traditional pubs, one of the most welcoming you'll find anywhere. Call in at the Coachmakers for a pint of excellent real ale and while you're there, sign the petition.

You can also sign it online on the Coachmakers Arms website, and if you really want to help, write a letter to the planning department as well.

There's a whole lot of live music around in Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding area at the moment.
